Standards for describing an item are as follows:
New
Merchandise is brand new, tags may or may not still be attached, but is unworn, unused or never displayed, may or may be in original packaging.
Pristine
Merchandise is in exceptional condition and shows no outward signs of wear or use,
but is not new. No perceivable flaws whatsoever.
Excellent/Very good
Merchandise is gently used, but has been well-cared for and could easily pass for
almost
new. There may be some small markings, scratches or light signs of use.
Good
Merchandise shows some signs of wear, but overall appearance is still of high quality.
May have slight stains or spots
but there are no significant flaws anywhere (ie: tears, abrasions or dark stains). Leather items may show signs of creasing and/or patina coloration, especially in corners, handles & interiors on handbags and instep, heels & toes on shoes
Fair
Item may need dry cleaning, reconditioning or repair. Flaws are showcased with photos. Items in this category are usually final sale.
